NingXia-Infused Cranberry Sauce! Thank you to Stacy McDonald of Common Scents Mom!
This is our family's traditional cranberry sauce - tweaked in recent years to include some oily goodness! Enjoy!
3 cups fresh cranberries
1 1/2 cup of raw cane sugar
1 1/4 cup port wine
1/4 cup cold water
4 1/2 tsp. cornstarch or arrowroot
2 drops Young Living Orange Vitality essential oil
1 oz. NingXia Red
Combine cranberries, sugar, and port in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until cranberry skins pop. Combine water and thickening agent (cornstarch or arrowroot). Stir into cranberry mixture.
Bring to a boil and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. (This can be made ahead, refrigerated, and reheated.) Yields 2 cups.”
